These wines tend to be plush and velvety, with flavors that lean toward black cherry, plum, and blackberry, plus classic Bordeaux notes like cocoa, cedar, graphite, and gentle earthiness. Depending on the producer and vintage, you might also catch hints of violet, tobacco, or baking spice.
