St. \u00c9milion is best known for blends led by Merlot, often supported by Cabernet Franc. These wines tend to be plush and velvety, with flavors that lean toward black cherry, plum, and blackberry, plus classic Bordeaux notes like cocoa, cedar, graphite, and gentle earthiness. Depending on the producer and vintage, you might also catch hints of violet, tobacco, or baking spice. They\u2019re structured but approachable\u2014serious enough to talk about, and friendly enough to simply enjoy.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll taste through a curated lineup and share a little about what makes St. \u00c9milion unique\u2014from its hillside vineyards to the way those Merlot-forward blends show up on the palate.<\/p>\n
