This month\u2019s theme is <strong data-start=\"178\" data-end=\"204\">2020 C\u00f4tes de Bordeaux<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"702\">C\u00f4tes de Bordeaux is a group of appellations on Bordeaux\u2019s Right Bank and surrounding hillside areas, including Blaye, Cadillac, Castillon, Francs, and Sainte-Foy. The word \u201cc\u00f4tes\u201d points to the slopes and hillsides where many of these vineyards are planted. The wines are often Merlot-led, supported by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and sometimes Malbec, giving them a generous red-fruited character with structure, spice, and good food-friendliness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"867\">The 2020 vintage gives us a chance to taste how these wines are showing with a few years of age, while also exploring one of Bordeaux\u2019s often better-value regions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"971\">Please join us for an evening of good wine, good conversation, and a closer look at C\u00f4tes de Bordeaux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2020 C\u00f4tes de Bordeaux<\/strong><br \/>\nSaturday, May 9, 7:00 pm<br \/>\nHosted by Ann and Ron Meisch<br \/>\n219 10th Avenue West, West Fargo<\/p>\n<p>$25 members, $35 guests*<\/p>\n<p>*non-member guests may attend up to three wine tasting events.
