sardinia

The Mediterranean islands of Sicily and Sardina are home to some of the most unique and interesting wines in the world. Steeped in history, viticulture on these islands date back to pre-Roman times. It is known that the Greeks were growing vines in Sicily in the 8th century, BC. Today, these regions provide a unique flavor of Italy and the wines are something special that you don’t find on the mainland of Italy. Both red and white varieties are being produced from grapes you may be familiar with and some not so widely known. Please join us as we cruise the Mediterranean in search of fantastic wines from these charming islands.
