Host Guidelines

Without our wonderful hosts, our wine tasting events would not be possible. Please consider hosting a tasting. In appreciation for hosting, the RRVAWS waives the tasting fee for hosts. Here are some guidelines for a successful tasting.

Host provides:

1. Space in their home to accommodate about 35 people.
2. A space to set up the wines with easy access for tasters.
3. A space for food.
4. Tableware, napkins and cutlery for food.
5. Water and water glasses.
6. Please avoid strong odors such as scented candles, air fresheners, strong perfumes, etc. These interfere with wine sensory experiences.

Chapter provides:

1. Wine glasses.
2. Wines for the theme.
3. Education about the wines.
4. Wine lists and tasting notes.
