The Malbec grape is a thin-skinned red grape that was once planted widely across France. It is still one of the featured grape from the area of Cahors. But the grape really came into its own when it set its roots in the soils of Argentina when French winemakers brought the grape across the pond in the 1800’s. Argentina has made the grape it’s own and is doing a fantastic job making world class wines form the grape. Join us as we explore the world of Malbec from Argentina.
