Cabernet Franc is one of the most widely grown grapes. However, it is rarely used as a stand alone varietal. It is usually blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in a Bourdeaux blend style. Lighter than Cabernet Sauvignon, these grapes produce peppery and bright red wines. Join us as we celebrate Cab Sauv’s parent, the Cabernet Franc.
